Hey everyone! I recently purchased my first ever Morphe eyeshadow palette and I was very impressed with the formula. I already did a post on that palette, you can also check that post out if you want. There was a new palette available at Boozyshop, the site where I get most of my Morphe products, but most new eyeshadow palettes sell out quickly so I had to get my hands on the 35R. The 35 Ready, Set, Gold! palette is one of Morphe's newest releases and it's all about gold and I love me some nice gold shadow! If you want to see more, just keep scrolling!
If you want to know what my opinion is about the packaging, then check that out in my previous Morphe post, but for now I'm just going to talk about the colors and if the formula is simular to my other palette, how they swatch and how they perform on the eyes. I created a little eyelook at the end of the post. I really like the color range of this palette and it also compliments the 35F palette that I reviewed earlier! Those two palettes make the perfect combo in terms of shades! But let's see if the formula is the same or maybe even better. Let's get to swatches!
The palette is divided into two sections, on the left we have 18 matte shades and two satins. On the right we have 15 metallic shades. The first shade in the palette is a really nice transition shade, a little bit more on the cooler side. The second one is more of a brick crease shade. The 3th shade is a lighter and warmer version of the first one. The shade in the middle is a nice taupy brown shade. The first metallic shade is a pretty champagne highlighting shade. The shade nect to it is a darker highlighting shade, it's a light rosegold shade. The last one is a dark rosegold.
The first shade of the second row is a nice soft brown crease shade. The second one is a mustardy brown color. The one next to that is a light banana shade, great to set your eyelid primer. The middle shade is dark aubergine shade. The first metallic from the second row is a nice bronze shade. The one next to that is a golden copper shade. The last one is a light copper shade
The first shade on the 3th row is your everyday soft transition shade. The second shade of that row is a really beautiful mauvy brown, the shade next to it is the satin version of that mauvy brown. The middle one is a really dark chocolate shade. The first metallic from the 3th row is a yellowy gold shade. The second metallic shade is a very dark taupy brown. And the last metallic of the row is a very pretty orangy copper, very great to create a nice warm metallic look.
The first shade of the 4th row is a really nice chocolate shade. The second one is very simular to the second shade from the first row. The 3th one is again a satin shade, it's a really pretty pumpkin orange shade. The middle shade is a nice grey brown. The first metallic is a nice olive gold shade. The one next to that is the lighter version of the last metallic shade from the 3th row. The last shade of the row is a really really really dark brown, it's almost a black!
The first shade of the last row is a rusty chocolate shade. The second shade is almost a matte version of that really dark brown metallic shade, it's almost black, so great for a smokey eye. The 3th shade is a really nice transition/crease shade. The middle shade is a very pretty mauvy brown. The first metallic of the last row is a true copper shade. The second one is a nice true gold shade. And last but not least we have another nice olive gold, this is a very simular shade to the gold shade called "Rich B*tch" from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer palette.
I really like this palette, I love gold shades, so this is a palette made in heaven to me! I like it even more than the 35F palette. I got mine from Boozyshop, but of course you can buy yours from any site you want or from the Morphe website, I'm also trying to get my hands on the 35OM and the 35OS, but they're always out of stock at Boozyshop and The Make Up Spot, it's so frustrating, because they look really beautiful and I love warmtones! I will definitely give you an update if I finally get my hands on it.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know what you're opinion is on the Morphe palettes, what's your favourite one, would you buy the 35R? I would also like to know what you want to see in the future! I love you all and I hope you'll visit again! See you later! ☺
